- Pay special attention to the subjects of your posts. Make sure you're posting where you're supposed to. If you have a post about a video game, don't put it in the anime section.
- Remember that we aren't exactly the most child-friendly community. Things that are posted here tend to be a bit PG-13. If you don't belong here and know it, don't make us take action against you.
- In an effort to keep the spam at a minimum, please make use of the search function. Make sure before you start a new thread that one like it doesn't already exist.
- We understand that sometimes a short post is all that's needed, but do try to make your posts a reasonable length.
- Keep your posts on topic. Avoid digression as well as is possible.
- Alright, Flaming. DON'T DO IT. There is zero tolerance for flaming. Respectfully speaking your opinion is acceptable, but don't let it get out of hand or the staff will take action.
- While swearing is not against the forum rules, try to keep it within reason. There are no sailors here (yes, I mean you, too, Navy personnel).
- Pay attention to this one because it's the exact opposite of other forums. BACKSEAT MOD. Everyone knows the rules and if you see someone breaking them, let them know and then inform a mod. We can't keep up with everything, so if you see something going down, point it out.
- When in doubt, ask a mod. If there's a question about ANYTHING, you can ask us. If we don't have the answer, we'll refer you to the mod that does.
- The ranks structure isn't just a cool reference to the military, it represents some small manner of seniority. It's a badge of honour. "I participate!" That being said, you should treat anyone with a General rank like any other mod. They may not have all the cool options, but they are our frontline as one person can't really read the whole thing in a sitting. Point is, the ranks mean something. :P
